What is a freight relocation specialist?
recently I heard this term and I am trying to find out what it means. Is this just another way of saying "truck driver" or some type of profession? Also, what type of salary does this job have? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you, I thought it was a truck driver but just wanted to be sure.
Answer: You hit the nail on the head. It is a truck driver. How much you can make on this depends on many things. First if you are local or long distance. Local is usually just a regular hourly job. For long distance, you are usually paid per mile. This is of course, for non-union positions. When a union comes it it can vary even more.
The second thing is if you own your own rig. If you own your own truck and just haul trailers of good around I believe you can command a better pay for the freight relocation.
