Account Manager Job Offer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and implement transportation programs for customer base.
- Develop, present and implement solutions to customer issues utilizing proper skills and training.
- Complete all necessary reports, customer files, and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand revenue growth.
- Assist with company goals and sales/product training with drivers.
- Serve as a liaison between our customer base and Viking.
- Promote and support the philosophies, goals, objectives and programs of Viking Freight, Inc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good working knowledge of sales processes and the transportation industry.
- Knowledge of the geographic area helpful.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three years successful and effective field selling experience in the transportation industry with a proven sales track record or equivalent transportation industry experience.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma required/College Degree preferred.
